Bolinder Ranch, Grantsville Utah
The Bolinder Ranch has been in the family for several generations. The original property deed was signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt and is included in this brochure.
The Bolinder family has been very prominent in Tooele County since the early 1900’s. Lester Bolinder was the first individual to own an airplane in Tooele County. He built many airfields across the northwest and the Bolinder Field – Tooele Valley Airport in Tooele County was named in his honor.
During the past several years, the ranch has mainly been used for grazing cattle and for camping, cookouts, horseback riding, hiking, riding ATVs and for enjoying the fabulous views of the Wasatch Front, Tooele Valley, and the Great Salt Lake by the Bolinder family and their friends. The ranch is contiguous to the National Forest and three miles from Deseret Peak Wilderness area.
This beautiful foothill property is zoned for approximately two hundred, 5-acre ranchettes that could easily be developed into a gated, upscale community with plenty of room for a world-class, 18-hole golf course featuring exclusive high-end lots on the golf course or lots backed up to the privacy of the National Forest.
Buyers from the Wasatch Front and around the world, when buying a primary residence or a vacation home to escape stress from city congestion, will enjoy golfing, riding horses, ATVs, cross-country skiing, biking and hiking right out their own back doors!
Also available is a large amount of quality landscape rock, as well as an abundance of choice gravel deposits, which can be used for the infrastructure and development of the ranch.
Utah’s real estate market is extremely strong with record sales and growth – particularly in Tooele Valley. The ranch is just 45 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City, 33 minutes from Salt Lake International Airport, with an additional airfield just minutes away that accommodates business jets or comparable aircraft. With the expanding real estate market in Utah and this type of property and location, the potential uses for this large tract of deeded ground with the large block of water are unlimited!
